WHO: Our Quilt Retreats have been  such a success all the attendees wanted to come to the next one! Word spread and we have had a number of others say they'd like to come.  

WHAT: This is going to be just an average, simple, Quilt Retreat. We have the conference room where we will set up the machine and you can sew to your hearts content. We will have the room open from 0800 in the morning to 2100 hours in the evening.

WHEN: we are having TWO (2) retreats. At the last retreat we were limited to 25 attendees. A number of folks commented that it was "a bit claustrophobic" so we are limiting this retreat to 20 people. 

The first weekend will be 6,7, and 8 April.

The second will be 20,21,and 22 April and is already at full capacity.

NOTE: EACH PARTICIPANT RECEIVES A SOUVENIR T-SHIRT. PLEASE MAKE SURE WE GET YOUR SIZE SO YOU ARE HAPPY WITH IT.

WHERE: The retreat will again be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Bedford.

We have a block of rooms reserved. The rates on the rooms are $120/night + tax for a double (pair up with a friend for savings) or $115/night + tax for a king room (Our understanding is that these rooms have sofa beds so sharing a room maybe an option here as well). These rates are available until two week before the events.

This is the closest hotel to the Shop right off S.R. #37. It is LESS than 10 minutes down S.R.#37 to the shop so if you need a break or HAVE to go get that fabric to complete your project, it is close.

WHY: Because we had so many people request .

SAFETY:
While Covid concerns are less than they were in the past, we will vigilant. The health Department limited us to 25 people in the room and we are going to have even LESS people in the room at these events so proper social distancing should not be a problem.. We will have individual tables set up for each person.

Again, we are going to leave the decision on whether or not to wear a mask up to the individual. We’d ask you be respectful other others and maintain social distancing.

MEALS

Breakfast: Those staying at the hotel are entitled to the free breakfast provided. We will have snacks in the room for those not staying and arriving later.
Lunch: IQD will be providing LUNCH, SNACKS, and DRINKS throughout the day. (IF you have unique dietary restrictions or needs please make us aware of these when you register so we can accommodate)
Dinner: Dinner will be on your own. The Hotel is conveniently located within minutes of many fine restaurants, if you do not want to leave, there are a number of delivery options as well. If there is enough interest, we may order in but that will depend on the group.

As a reminder, all the rooms have microwaves and refrigerators as well.

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS

If the above information hasn’t convinced you to attend here are some additional factors to consider.

GIFT BAGS – We received a huge among of donations from our various vendors and suppliers for the last retreat so
we had great gifts bags and door prizes at the last retreat. We are starting to hear from our vendors, but it is a ways off yet so who knows what they might send!!!! 

SHOP DISCOUNTS – All participants in the retreat will be given a 10% discount. Remember we have now implemented the rewards program where you get a point for each dollar spent and for every $250 spent you earn $25 off your next purchase.  (Does not extend to Machines, CLEARANCE or SALE Items, Marshall Dry Goods prints, FLAT FOLDS, repairs, or classes)

DEMONSTRATIONS – We will be having a number of demonstrations mini classes during the course of the event.
