WHO: Our Quilt Retreats have been such a success all the attendees wanted to come to the next one! Word spread and we have had a number of others say they'd like to come. Our first Retreat (Oct 2023) at the church saw us fill 48 of 50 seats. They are popular so DON'T delay in registering..


WHAT: This is going to be just an average, simple, Quilt Retreat. We have the  gymnasium where we will set up the machines and you can sew till your hearts content. We will have the room open from 0800 in the morning to 2100 hours in the evening. First come first serve on the seating. Ex. If you have a group that wants to be together get someone there early and have them save your seat. 

WHEN: 23, 24, & 25 OCT 2025 .  We are hosting one retreat in a larger area per the survey we conducted. We are opening registration to all at the same time. The room is big with a kitchen attached and we are excited to be doing new things with amazing individuals!!


WHERE: All in attendance really liked the NEW location. The most common comments heard were about the ROOM/SPACE available to each individual, & the better LIGHTING.

 
The retreat will again be held at the Bedford First Baptist Church 
1515 20th St. Bedford, In 47421.

ALL HOTEL RESERVATIONS: We will be working with the Hampton Inn and their number which you NEED to dial DIRECTLY is 812-902-2600. Use the code Q25.  Make sure you speak to the Bedford, In location directly. Make reservations at least 2 weeks prior as this is the window for the rates.  All hotel accommodations are between you and the hotel. The rates are for a single and a double. 

Room rates are $135 for both types. 

WHY: Because we had so many people request.

SAFETY:
While Covid concerns are less than they were in the past, we will vigilant. We will have individual tables set up for each person.

Again, we are going to leave the decision on whether or not to wear a mask up to the individual. We’d ask you be respectful of others and maintain social distancing.

MEALS

Breakfast: Those staying at the hotel are entitled to the free breakfast provided. We will have snacks in the room for those not staying and arriving later.

Lunch: IQD will be providing LUNCH, SNACKS, and DRINKS throughout the day. (IF you have unique dietary restrictions or needs please make us aware of these when you register so we can accommodate)

Dinner: Dinner will be on your own. The Hotel is conveniently located within minutes of many fine restaurants, if you do not want to leave, there are a number of delivery options as well. If there is enough interest, we may order in but that will depend on the group.


ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS

If the above information hasn’t convinced you to attend here are some additional factors to consider.


SHOP DISCOUNTS – All participants in the retreat will be given a 20% discount instead of reward point.  (Does not extend to Machines, CLEARANCE or SALE Items, Marshall Dry Goods prints, FLAT FOLDS, repairs, or classes)

DEMONSTRATIONS – We will be having a number of demonstrations mini classes during the course of the event.

NOTE: The Church maintains a "Blessings Box" which provides food for many who are less fortunate. With TWO (2) schools in close proximity, many children frequent the box before and after school so granola bars and the like are popular items. We encourage attendees to consider bring an item(s) from home to make a contribution. The Church is being very good to us and we want to help them with their mission if possible. If you don't feel comfortable donating non-perishable food items, there will be a jar established for the benevolence fund. Please consider giving a small thank you to the Church.
