-1 1/ 4 yard of Stripe Fabric. Border stripe fabric or Wide stripes works well. Pin stripes or narrow stripes do not work well.
-Machine in good working order.
*Tools:
-10 inch square ruler
-Ruler at least 18 inches long
-straight pins
-small iron
-cutting mat

-50 or 60 weight thread that works well with your fabric color.
