With the first of the year, we have been hit with a number of price increases from a number of suppliers. 

The IQD has absorbed a number of these costs WITHOUT passing these increases on to our clients.

Unfortunately, a number of these increases have came with increased M.A.P. [Minimum Advertised PRICE] prices, these we have NO control over. Two of the products that have seen such increases are the KONA COTTONS and the SINGER, VIKING, PFAFF machines. 

The M.A.P. has raised $0.25/yard ($7.50/yd),with a corresponding increase in our cost. While we have NOT increased the consumer cost, we want you to be aware of price pressures being imposed on us. This WILL NOT affect KONA COLOR CLUB pricing. Kona Color Club members will still receive the colors of the month, the color of the year, Black, White, Navy at NO MORE than the Minimum Advertised Price. 

We have also received notice from SVP that M.A.P. on most, if not all, Singer, Viking, Pfaff machines, notions, and accessories will be increasing by 6 to 15% EFFECTIVE 15 FEBUARY. What this means is IF you, or a friend, have been considering a new machine, NOW is the time to pull the trigger. An additional consideration is the fact that much of the SVP line is made in China and could be subject to the proposed tariffs. The above mentioned price increases do not/have not factored in any tariffs.

My suggestion is, get it now, as I doubt prices will be decreased to current levels, even on sales.

IQD is now offering SCISSOR & KNIFE SHARPENING SERVICES. We have acquired SCISSOR SHARPENING EQUIPMENT earlier in the month and after working on numerous varied sizes and types of scissors, we feel confident to now open this service up to the public.   Our prices are competitive with others in the area.
